Most rides are made during the day – getting to work and back. These rides are planned and pre-defined because we know the time period that we can get to the work and when to return.

However, most rideshare apps in Israel and around the world deal with on-demand rides. In on-demand ride it is harder to group passengers to a pool, there is a need to change a route when a new demand appears, route is not optimized, because we don't know about new demand until it happens. People when they wake up, don't know if they will find a shared ride to a work or how long does it take to find it or how much it will cost, because it depends on number of passengers in car.

Another problem of shared ride apps is that some of them are using not licensed drivers with their private cars. A lot of people are not comfortable with taking strange people to a car or entering to stranger's car. Even if there is no danger to health, the situation in car can be unpleasant. Also in some countries like Israel, such kind of rides is under government regulation and there are a lot of restrictions that make such rides not profitable for car owner.

AlgoRide goal is to provide a pre-planned ordered rides with licensed drivers which will be faster and cheaper than on-demand rides. The route of the ride will be planned based on the fastest way between source and destination points, avoiding entering heavy traffic, static routes, like with public bus transportation.
